It’s a compact platform, often a push-around pop-up like a PecoLift or EcoLift, or a vertical mast lift, that raises one operative to height with their tools. They’re built for indoor maintenance and installation where a full scissor or boom lift would be overkill, with our taller mast and work platforms reaching up to 11 metres for higher jobs.

Compact pop-ups such as the Desk Surfer, EcoLift, PecoLift and Nano give a safe few metres for low-level work, while our vertical mast and work platforms step up to 7m, 10m and 11m. Tell us the height you actually need to work at and we’ll spec the right unit.

You get a stable, guarded platform you can work from with both hands, plus space for tools, safer than a ladder and quicker to reposition than a podium or tower. For repetitive height work it cuts the risk and speeds the job up.

The compact pop-ups are around 0.7 to 0.8 metres wide, so they pass through standard doorways and down narrow aisles, and they’re light too, often from about 180kg, so they move easily between rooms and floors. The taller mast and work platforms are a little larger, so tell us your access and we’ll confirm what fits.

That’s exactly what they’re made for. Battery-powered drive means no emissions, non-marking tyres protect finished floors, and the quiet running suits retail, offices and occupied buildings during opening hours.

Typical jobs are lighting and air-conditioning maintenance, signage, stocktaking, retail and warehouse fit-out, and general facilities work at low height. Anywhere staff would otherwise be up a ladder indoors, one of these is typically the safer call.

Platform capacity is generally around 150kg to 250kg, enough for one operative plus tools and light materials. Each unit is marked with its safe working load, and we’ll confirm it before you hire.

Push-around verticals are simple to use, but whoever uses one should still be briefed and competent, and many sites ask for IPAF 3a. Make sure whoever uses it holds the right qualification for the site, and if you’d like we can point you towards training.
